About the Job
Inventory Aide:
The Inventory Aide is responsible for counting, picking, restocking, and distributing low-unit-of-measure (LUM) medical supplies to nursing supply and PAR areas. Duties may also include distributing equipment and furniture to various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replenish PAR inventory levels and prepare chargeable supplies.
- Identify and restock instruments, trays, and medical supplies.
- Deliver medical/surgical supplies based on priority.
- Process verbal, phone, EPIC, and handheld terminal requests.
- Maintain clean and organized inventory areas.
- Prepare mobile medical equipment for use.
- Inspect supplies for damaged packaging and expired items.
- Check in stock and non-stock items and report discrepancies.
- Perform cycle counts as needed.
- Verify expiration dates and rotate products to prevent outdating.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Inventory control experience in a healthcare setting.
- Medical terminology experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Candidates must list any prior work history with North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital, and/or Blaze Health LLC on their resume.
