MEDICAL ASSISTANT/LPN
We are seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN to support clinical operations and assist providers with patient care in a busy outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, dependable, and comfortable working with patients across all age groups, from infants and children to adults and geriatrics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage patient flow throughout the clinic.
- Assist providers with patient care and treatment.
- Complete standard patient rooming processes.
- Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed.
- Collect laboratory specimens as needed.
- Provide telephone and patient support.
- Facilitate communication between patients and providers.
- Assist with prescription refills.
- Perform phlebotomy duties as applicable.
- Perform clinic laboratory testing.
- Provide front desk/check-in support as needed.
- Order and stock supplies.
- Assist with prior authorizations.
- Perform X-ray duties if appropriately qualified and certified.
SCHEDULE:
Schedule is subject to change based on operational needs.
- Week 1: Monday 8:00 AM–8:30 PM / Thursday 7:45 AM–8:15 PM.
- Week 2: Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM–8:30 PM.
- Week 3: Monday 7:45 AM–8:15 PM / Friday 8:00 AM–8:30 PM.
- Week 4: Monday/Tuesday 7:45 AM–8:15 PM.
- Week 5: Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM–8:30 PM.
- Week 6: Tuesday 8:00 AM–8:30 PM / Friday 7:45 AM–8:15 PM.
MEDICAL ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR qualifying RMA program with required work experience and RMA certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Required education and certifications must be documented.
LPN REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Minnesota LPN license at time of submission.
- Current BLS certification.
- Required license and certification must be documented.
