Medical Assistant / LPN – Clinic Position

The Medical Assistant will support clinic operations by managing patient flow and assisting providers with patient care. Responsibilities include performing clinical and administrative tasks, collaborating with healthcare teams, and providing care to patients across various age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete patient rooming processes and support provider visits.
Administer vaccines, injections, and medications as directed.
Collect laboratory specimens and perform basic clinic lab testing.
Provide telephone support and assist with patient-provider communication.
Support prescription refill requests.
Perform phlebotomy duties.
Perform X-ray duties if qualified and certified.
Assist with front desk/check-in tasks.
Order and stock supplies.
Assist with prior authorizations.

Medical Assistant Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES/CAAHEP) OR completion of an accredited Registered Medical Assistant program with certification.
Previous clinical experience required.
Current BLS certification required.

LPN Requirements:

Active Minnesota LPN license required (must be documented at submission).
Previous clinical experience required.
Current BLS certification required.

Submission Requirements:

Candidates must not have previously applied directly to the position.
Required documentation must be provided, including certifications and license verification (for LPN candidates).
