Medical Assistant / LPN – Permanent:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage patient flow and assist providers with patient care.
• Room patients and perform clinical intake.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed.
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform clinic lab testing.
• Provide telephone and front-desk support as needed.
• Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations.
• Perform phlebotomy and X-ray duties when appropriately qualified.
• Order and stock supplies.
• Communicate patient concerns and updates with the healthcare team.

Medical Assistant Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED – Required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program .(ABHES/CAAHEP) or qualifying RMA program – Required.
• Current BLS certification – Required.

LPN Requirements:

• Active Minnesota LPN/PN license – Required.
• Current BLS certification – Required.
