Position Overview
Seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient flow and assist providers with clinical and clerical duties. The role may involve caring for patients across all age groups, from infants through geriatrics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✓ Rooming patients and supporting clinic flow
✓ Administering immunizations, injections, and medications as directed
✓ Collecting laboratory specimens
✓ Phlebotomy and clinic laboratory testing
✓ Telephone and front-desk support
✓ Assisting with prescription refills and prior authorizations
✓ Communicating with patients and providers
✓ Ordering and stocking supplies
✓ X-ray duties if appropriately qualified

MEDICAL ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS
✓ High school diploma or GED
✓ Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR qualifying RMA program and certification
✓ Current BLS certification
✓ Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR qualifying RMA program and certification
✓ Current BLS certification
LPN REQUIREMENTS
✓ Active Minnesota LPN license
✓ Current BLS certification
✓ Current BLS certification
