Medical Assistant – Travel Assignment

URGENT BACKFILL NEEDED

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for an outpatient physician office.

Responsibilities:

Obtain and document vital signs.
Administer injections and immunizations.
Room patients and review medical histories.
Prepare patients for examinations and minor procedures.
Perform EKGs.
Utilize medical terminology appropriately.
Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Adjust to changing schedules to minimize patient wait times.
May be required to travel between clinic locations as needed.

Requirements:

1–2 years of current Medical Assistant experience required.
Previous travel experience highly preferred.
Current American Heart Association BLS required.
Experience with Meditech is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient volumes and schedules.
