MEDICAL ASSISTANT / LPN.
JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clinic operations, assist providers with patient care, and perform clinical and administrative duties for patients of all ages.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Room patients and assist with patient flow.
- Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed.
- Perform specimen collection, phlebotomy, and laboratory testing as needed.
- Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations.
- Provide telephone, front desk, and patient communication support.
- Stock supplies and perform X-ray duties if qualified.
- Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
SCHEDULE:
Rotating six-week schedule with 12-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Schedule may change based on operational needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Medical Assistant Candidates:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES/CAAHEP) OR an eligible accredited RMA program with required experience and certification exam completion.
- Current BLS certification.
LPN Candidates:
- Active Minnesota Practical Nurse (PN) license at submission.
- Current BLS certification.
