Medical Assistant / LPN – Clinic
Pay Range:
- Medical Assistant: $22.23–$27.37/hour, based on experience.
- LPN: $24.50–$32.77/hour.
Position Overview Provide clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers, manage patient flow, and assist with patient care across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain necessary information.
- Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed.
- Collect specimens, perform phlebotomy, and conduct clinic laboratory tests.
- Provide telephone support and coordinate communication between patients and providers.
- Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations.
- Support check-in, maintain supplies, and perform other administrative duties.
- Perform X-ray duties if qualified and authorized.
Schedule:
- Monday: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- Wednesday: 7:30 AM–12:00 PM.
- Thursday: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- Friday: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- Must be willing to work at both assigned clinic locations.
Medical Assistant Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED — Required.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or qualifying RMA program — Required.
- Current BLS certification — Required.
LPN Requirements:
- Active Minnesota LPN license verified through Nursys at submission — Required.
- Current BLS certification — Required.
