Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with long-term care experience to provide quality resident care and support nursing staff. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities, mobility, nutrition, and personal care while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide supportive services to nurses and other healthcare staff as needed.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) according to care plans and established policies.
  • Help residents with lifting, turning, transferring, positioning, and transportation using beds, chairs, wheelchairs, and lifts.
  • Assist with mealtime services, including setup, cleanup, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documenting food intake.
  • Deliver nutritional supplements as scheduled, assist residents as needed, and document intake.
  • Assist with resident weighing, record weights, and report significant changes to the nurse or supervisor.
  • Monitor residents’ skin conditions and report pressure areas, skin breakdown, or skin tears promptly.
  • Support nursing staff with toileting programs and related resident care activities.
  • Complete daily flow sheets and document assigned tasks and resident progress as directed.
  • Communicate any barriers to completing assigned duties, including resident refusals or reassignment.
  • Promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to the appropriate nurse and supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 1 year of long-term care (LTC) experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous travel healthcare experience required.
  • Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Successful work history demonstrating assignments or employment lasting longer than 13 weeks.
  • No active disciplinary action against certification.
  • Active Michigan state certification/license, as applicable, at the time of submission.
