CNA – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Seeking an experienced CNA to provide compassionate hands-on care and support to residents in a long-term care setting. The CNA will work closely with nursing staff to assist residents with daily activities, mobility, nutrition, toileting, and overall comfort while accurately documenting care and reporting changes in residents’ conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living according to care plans and established procedures.
- Assist with lifting, turning, transferring, positioning, and transporting residents using appropriate equipment.
- Support dining services, including meal setup, tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documenting intake.
- Provide nutritional supplements and document consumption.
- Assist with resident weights and report significant changes to nursing staff.
- Monitor and report skin conditions, pressure areas, breakdowns, or skin tears.
- Assist nursing staff with toileting programs.
- Complete daily documentation and flow sheets accurately.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions and any factors affecting the ability to provide assigned care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of LTC experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous travel experience required.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Successful work history demonstrating completion of assignments lasting longer than 13 weeks.
- No active disciplinary action against CNA certification.
- Active required license/certification at the time of submission.
