Perm Medical Lab Technician

Pay Rate: $30.00–$44.00/hour (union position; non-negotiable and based on years of experience)

Position Summary:
Performs clinical laboratory testing to assist physicians in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

Perform clinical laboratory testing using standard laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
Operate laboratory equipment, analyzers, microscopes, and applicable computer systems (LIS/HIS).
Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and organized workflow.
Demonstrate critical thinking, multitasking, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Communicate effectively with staff and the public.

Requirements:

Must meet CLIA-88, CAP, and Joint Commission personnel requirements.
Associate degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or equivalent as required.
Working knowledge of laboratory information systems, automated analyzers, centrifuges, pipettors, microscopes, and pneumatic tube systems.
Active Oregon state license required.
