NOW HIRING: CRITICAL CARE NURSE PRACTITIONER (NP/PA)
Schedule & Hours:
- 7 days on / 7 days off.
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
- 14 shifts per month.
- Must be willing to commit to the required rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general medical care to hospitalized adult patients with acute medical conditions.
- Evaluate patients upon admission and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of illnesses and diseases.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory work, and X-rays.
- Coordinate care with physicians, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate treatment plans and answer patient questions.
- Coordinate follow-up care after hospital discharge.
Requirements:
- Active New York NP/ PA license in hand.
- Board certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications or accepted RQI certifications.
- Epic experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Updated work history with no unexplained gaps of 30 days or more.
- Residents and fellows will not be accepted.
