Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Inpatient Adult/Geriatric Care | Locum Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a full-time inpatient locum assignment beginning August 2026 through the end of the year. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, collaborative physician support, and travel coverage for qualified providers.
Position Highlights:
- Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
- No call responsibilities.
- Inpatient adult and geriatric patient population.
- Average of 10 patients per day.
- EPIC EMR system.
- Psychiatric evaluations and patient management.
- Supervising physician available onsite; MD co-signs notes.
- Travel expenses available including flight, hotel, and rental car.
Requirements:
- Active New York NP license required.
- AANP certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Board Certified.
- NPDB self-query report dated within 30 days required.
- Prior inpatient psychiatry experience required; new graduates will not be considered.
