Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with strong robotics experience.
- Full-time coverage opportunity starting in September.
- Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 7am–5pm.
- Opportunity for weekend and weeknight call coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Surgical First Assist operating room coverage.
- Medical-surgical floor coverage.
- Rounding and progress notes.
- Managing orders, discharges, and consults.
- Supporting General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic patients.
Surgical Duties:
- Cauterizing wounds and vessels.
- Placing clamps and sutures.
- Closing skin with adhesives, sutures, or staples.
- Applying direct pressure for bleeding control.
- Assisting with suction, drainage, and irrigation.
- Patient positioning and immobilization during procedures.
- Assisting with hemostasis.
Patient & Unit Details:
- Adult acutely ill medical-surgical patients.
- Collaborative team environment with providers, anesthesia staff, NP support, and nursing staff.
- EMR system: EPIC.
Requirements:
- Robotics experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience.
- Active state license required.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications required.
