Locum APP – Critical Care (ICU/Step-Down)
Coverage Dates: June 1 – October 2
Reason for Coverage: Vacancy
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- Day/Evening shifts
- Minimum 40 hours/week (up to 50 as needed)
Setting:
- Inpatient ICU and step-down units.
Patient Load:
- Up to 10 patients per day.
- Includes phone coverage for all inpatients.
- Adult population.
EMR: EPIC
Practice Model:
- Autonomous practice.
- Supervising and critical care physicians available onsite.
Procedures Required:
- Central line placement
- Arterial line placement
- Chest tube placement and removal
- Wound VAC changes
Credentialing Timeframe: ~6 weeks
Requirements:
- NCCPA certification (required).
- Active state license (required).
- ACLS certification (required).
- Minimum ICU experience (no new graduates).
- EPIC experience (required).
