Position: OB/GYN Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Schedule:
- Primarily clinic-based coverage Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Some hospital coverage required.
- Full-time coverage preferred.
- Call schedule: 1 in 5 weekdays and 1 in 10 overnight/weekends.
Practice Details:
- OB/GYN practice with clinic and hospital responsibilities.
- Average of 20 clinic patients per day.
- Approximately 3 deliveries and 8 GYN surgeries per week.
- Support team includes OB/GYN physicians, mid-level providers, RNs, LPNs, MAs, and surgery scheduler.
- Onsite lab and ultrasound services available.
Required Experience:
- OB/GYN experience required.
- Experience with low-risk and complicated pregnancies.
- FHR interpretation and routine deliveries.
- C-section decision-making.
- VBACs and repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations.
Preferred Experience:
- High-risk pregnancy management.
- OB ultrasound performance and interpretation.
- Office/minor gynecology procedures including IUDs, colposcopy, cryosurgery, cystoscopy, and LEEP.
Requirements:
- Board Certified NP or PA required.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
- Clean background required.
- NPDB report within 30 days required at presentation.
- State license preferred.
Travel & Expenses:
- Travel reimbursement provided.
- Flights, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursed within policy guidelines.
