Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Opportunity – Iowa
We are seeking an experienced PA-C with Cardiothoracic Surgery and EVH experience for a locum assignment at a Level II Trauma Facility in Iowa.
Coverage Needed:
June 7 at 8:00 AM – June 14 at 8:00 AM
Ongoing opportunities available
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM plus night call
• June 7 & June 13: 24-hour call coverage
• Weekend coverage includes 24-hour call
• Call ratio: 1:2
Practice Highlights:
• Approximately 125 CABG cases annually
• Mix of clinic responsibilities and surgical call coverage
• Collaborative CT Surgery team environment
Compensation:
• $180/hour
• $250/hour OT/Callback
• $750 per 24-hour call shift
• $350/night call
Travel Provided:
• Flights covered
• Rental car provided
• Lodging reimbursed
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
Requirements:
• Board Certified PA-C
• Active Iowa License
• ACLS & BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of CT Surgery experience
• Clean malpractice/background history
• NPDB Self-Query report within 30 days
