Job Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Cardiology (Interventional & EP)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our comprehensive Cardiovascular team. This role offers a balanced four-day work week within a collaborative academic and clinical environment.
Schedule & Workload:
- Shift: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexibility available).
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day.
- Patient Population: Adults (Ages 18–100).
Clinical Environment:
- Practice Setting: A blend of Hospital, Clinic, and Academic/Training environments, including Telemedicine.
- Department: Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
- Support: Work alongside one assigned clinical team in a 270-bed facility.
- EMR: EPIC.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
You will provide high-level support for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular procedures. While the APP does not perform the procedures, you will manage patients postoperatively for:
- Interventional Cardiology: R/LHC, PCI, Balloon Angioplasty, and Balloon Pumps.
- Electrophysiology: Pacemaker/ICD implants (traditional and sub-Q), Loop recorders, and various Ablations (AVN, SVT, AFLUTTER).
Requirements:
- Certification: Board Certified (Family Medicine or relevant specialty).
- Licensure: Active State License and DEA.
- Life Support: ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Experience: Previous experience in Cardiology, Interventional, or EP settings is highly preferred.
Credentialing:
- Timeframe: Standard 90-day window.
