Schedule:
- Coverage needed through 06/11.
- Office hours: 8 AM – 4 PM for scheduled patients.
- 24-hour call coverage daily, including weekdays alongside office schedule.
- Call handled through Perfect Serve.
- Call ratio: 1 in 4.
Practice Details:
- Average 25–30 scheduled patients per day.
- Team includes 4 physicians (with 1 on leave) and 5 midwives.
- 5 APPs providing coverage.
- 3 exam rooms per provider.
- Onsite lab and ultrasound available.
- One-on-one clinical support per provider (CMA, LPN, RN).
- Documentation system: Epic
- Trauma Level: Level 2
- NICU Level III available
Patient Mix:
- Low-risk pregnancy: 90%
- High-risk pregnancy: 10%
- GYN: 20%
- C-section rate: 10%
Required OB Procedures:
- Low-risk pregnancy management.
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE).
- OB ultrasound performance and interpretation.
- Level I/screening ultrasounds (viability).
Labor & Delivery Required Procedures:
- Routine vaginal deliveries.
- Low forceps deliveries.
- C-section decision-making and management.
- Complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions.
- VBACs.
- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
Gynecology Required Procedures:
- Office/minor GYN procedures: IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP.
- Surgical gynecology: open and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures including tubal ligation, LOAs, chromal tubation.
- Major operative procedures including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs.
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
- Active VA license or willingness to obtain.
- Self-Query NPDB report required at presentation (within 30 days).
- BLS/ACLS required.
- Clean malpractice/background history.
- Provider must be local (only mileage reimbursed).
Credentialing Timeframe:
- Estimated 120 days after approved candidate is submitted to onboarding team.
