Patient Registration Manager
The Patient Registration Manager oversees the operations of the Patient Registration Department, including planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating department activities. The role also supports shared registration services, quality improvement initiatives, Human Resources compliance, budget management, and operational/strategic planning.
Schedule:
- Patient Registration operates 24/7.
- Manager is not required to work all shifts but must maintain visibility and engagement across shifts.
- Schedule is flexible and may include early starts as early as 6:00 AM to support night-shift staff and ensure effective communication across departments.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in healthcare.
- Supervisory/management experience in a hospital customer-focused registration process.
- Experience working in complex union environments.
- Experience with medical insurance plans as they relate to medical billing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
