Medical Assistant (MA) – Job Summary
Job Description:
The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient care and smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations, assisting providers with clinical procedures, documenting patient information, and maintaining a safe and organized clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, and update medical histories.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Perform phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection as needed.
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness and infection control standards.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Schedule appointments and assist with patient inquiries.
- Support daily clinical and administrative operations.
- Float between locations or departments as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience – REQUIRED.
- Must be willing to float between locations as needed – REQUIRED.
