MEDICAL ASSISTANT
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support.
- Work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff.
- May be required to float to other areas based on department needs.
- Must be flexible and comfortable working in different clinical settings within scope of experience.
SCHEDULE:
- Monday–Friday.
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- Day shift.
- No weekend schedule indicated.
- May be required to float as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clinical support to providers and patients.
- Assist with routine patient care and clinical workflows.
- Support providers during patient visits and procedures as assigned.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow department policies and clinical procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
- Perform duties within established scope of practice.
- Float to other departments/areas when needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience – Required.
- Must be willing to float – Required.
- Previous healthcare/clinical experience required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Ability to adapt to different clinical environments and workflows.
- EMR: Cerner.
