Permanent Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Opportunity
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $140,000–$145,000 annually (includes 200 hours of vacation/CME time).
- wRVU Productivity Bonus: $26.00 per wRVU (no cap).
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000.
- CME/Board Certification Allowance: $3,500.
- Relocation Assistance: Available.
Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced, full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive care for women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period while also delivering outpatient OB/GYN services. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate compassion, clinical expertise, and strong patient education skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
- Evaluate and manage outpatient OB/GYN patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
- Counsel and educate patients regarding their health and treatment options.
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures within the CNM scope of practice.
- Demonstrate expertise in the care of pregnant patients.
- Utilize community resources and referrals appropriately.
- Apply intervention techniques related to prenatal situations.
- Support patients with perinatal education and awareness of substance use and diabetic programs.
- Work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Schedule & Call:
- Two 8-hour clinic days during the week.
- One 24-hour call day each week with OB Hospitalist support.
- Weekend call rotation: 1:4 (Friday/Saturday coverage).

Minimum Qualifications:
- Certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) (Required).
- Minimum of 2 years of Certified Nurse Midwife experience (Required).
- Experience with:
- Perinatal education.
- Diabetes management.
- Substance use considerations during pregnancy.
- Active Ohio license or willingness to obtain one (Required).
- Clean malpractice and licensure history (Preferred).
