Intake Support Representative
Position Overview:
The Intake Support Representative is responsible for the timely processing of referrals, ensuring all referral information is accurate and complete before the patient's first visit. This role supports data entry, referral coordination, and efficient communication while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process referral packets for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter referral information into the system accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate referral documentation prior to patient visits.
- Verify and maintain accurate patient information.
- Work independently to resolve issues and ensure timely follow-up.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in a medical office (Required).
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time data entry experience (Required).
- Home Health scheduling experience (Highly Preferred).
- High school diploma (Required).
- Working knowledge of health insurance coverage requirements.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong computer skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
Additional Information:
- Local candidates will be considered.
- CORI/SIR background searches are required before the assignment can begin.
- Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable).
- Overtime and holiday pay: 1.25x regular rate.
- No call, callback, or charge responsibilities.
- All requested time off must be submitted with the application.
