Occupational Therapist Opportunity
Rate: $36.60 - $45.00 per hour (based on education and experience)
Relocation Allowance: Up to $5,000 (to be discussed during the interview)
Position Summary:
Seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services primarily to patients ages 0–3 years within an Infant Child Development (ICD) program. The role involves evaluating and treating children with delays or deficits affecting activities of daily living, play skills, neuromuscular function, sensory integration, cognitive development, and psychosocial abilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments.
- Developing individualized treatment plans.
- Providing occupational therapy interventions.
- Documenting services and patient progress.
- Educating and consulting with families and caregivers.
- Assisting with discharge and transition planning.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (Required).
Experience:
- One year of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred.
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active Kansas Occupational Therapy License (Required).
- Valid Kansas Driver's License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within the first 90 days of employment.
- CPR Certification.
