Travel MRI Aide / Radiology Aide Opportunity
Rate: $30–$35/hour
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced MRI Aide/Radiology Aide to support MRI operations in a busy imaging department. The aide will work alongside MRI Technologists and other support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality patient care.
Schedule & Assignment Details:
- Standard shift scheduling required.
- Block scheduling will not be considered.
- 10-hour and 12-hour shifts will not be considered.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
- Must be willing to take call as needed.
- Department is covered by call after midnight.
- Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted and must be submitted with the profile.
Practice Environment:
- Approximately 9 patients per shift.
- Will always work alongside another MRI Aide, MRI Technologist, or traveler.
- Never required to work independently.
- Equipment: GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0.
- Meditech Expanse EMR preferred.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience.
- GE equipment experience required.
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
- Active AHA BLS Certification.
- Must have reliable transportation and own vehicle.
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
Submission Requirements:
- Current work history.
- MRI Skills Checklist (within 1 year).
- One supervisory signed reference from the past two years.
- Active AHA BLS certification.
- Permanent address included in profile.
- All requested time off disclosed at submission.
Additional Notes:
- Travelers residing within 50 miles of the assignment location are not eligible.
- Travel pairs consisting of an MRI Technologist and MRI Aide will be considered.
- Travelers must be reachable by phone and have voicemail set up to avoid delays in the hiring process.
Overtime and Holiday Rate: 1.25x regular rate
Orientation: 8 hours non-billable
