Hemodialysis RN – Iowa
Position Overview:
RN role providing hemodialysis care as part of an interdisciplinary team, following ANA Code for Nurses and the organization's Professional Nurse Practice Model. Clinician must be willing to float between two campuses, as dialysis services are not offered at the primary location.
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts, 7am–7pm.
- Every other Monday, plus one shadow shift at each location.
- Must pick up at least 1 shift every 60 days to remain active.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years current Hemodialysis RN experience.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Active, unencumbered Iowa RN license (Compact allowed).
- Active BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
- Valid driver's license (if operating a work vehicle).
- Willingness to float between campuses.
- Experience with Fresenius 2008T dialysis machine.
Preferred:
- Active ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
Required for Submission/Profile:
- Resume listing all facilities worked, including facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units.
- Dialysis-specific skills checklist.
- Documentation: Iowa RN license verification, BLS card, driver's license.
- Statement of how many shifts per month the clinician is willing to pick up.
Other Notes:
- Certification requirement: BLS (AHA).
- License requirement: Active Iowa license at time of submission.
