Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Step Down | Illinois
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) to join a collaborative healthcare team in Illinois.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care and coordinate treatment plans for cardiac step-down patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and other healthcare providers.
- Deliver patient and family-centered care while following professional nursing standards.
- Maintain a safe practice environment aligned with nursing best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Step Down RN experience.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Active Illinois RN License (must be in hand at submission).
- Current BLS and ACLS Certifications (AHA or American Red Cross).
- Valid driver’s license required.

- Updated resume with facility details, bed size, trauma level, and unit experience.
- Step Down-specific skills checklist.
- License and certification documentation.
- Availability indicating the number of shifts per month desired.
