REGISTERED DIETITIAN - PACE PROGRAM
Join a dedicated Interdisciplinary Team focused on providing comprehensive, all-inclusive care for the elderly. We are seeking a compassionate Registered Dietitian to lead nutritional care, develop personalized interventions, and support our participants in maintaining their health and independence.
KEY BENEFITS:
- SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (No weekends).

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- NUTRITIONAL ASSESSMENT: Evaluate medical history, lab data, and medications to determine the unique nutritional needs of participants.
- CARE PLANNING: Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition interventions and care plans.
- EDUCATION: Provide vital instruction to participants, family members, and staff regarding specialized diets, food safety, and sanitation.
- DOCUMENTATION: Maintain accurate records within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and actively participate in daily Interdisciplinary Team meetings.
- ADVOCACY: Recommend nutrition strategies that directly improve medical diagnoses and overall quality of life for seniors.
REQUIREMENTS:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Dietetics or Food/Nutrition.
- CREDENTIALS: Registration (or eligibility) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- LICENSURE: Licensed (or eligibility) in the State of Iowa.
- CERTIFICATIONS: Current CPR/BCLS and Adult Mandatory Reporter status (or ability to obtain).
- SAFETY: ANSI-accredited food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) required within 90 days of hire.
- ADDITIONAL: Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
