Now Hiring: Medical Director – Hospital Medicine
An exciting leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Hospitalist physician to serve as Medical Director of Hospital Medicine in a full-time, day-shift role. This position offers the chance to lead a collaborative inpatient team while driving quality, efficiency, and operational excellence across hospital medicine services.
Position Highlights:
Full-time leadership role focused on inpatient hospital medicine.
Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or call responsibilities.
Lead and mentor a team of hospitalists in a collaborative acute care environment.
Oversee inpatient care delivery, quality initiatives, and performance metrics.
Partner with clinical and administrative leadership to implement best practices.
Ensure compliance with hospital standards, regulatory requirements, and patient safety initiatives.
Support physician recruitment, retention, and departmental development.
Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation and workflow management.
Requirements:
Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an acute care setting required.
Strong background in hospital medicine leadership and inpatient operations.
Active New York license or willingness to obtain.
Clean malpractice and license history required.
ACLS, BLS, DEA, and PALS certifications required.
Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered.
Experienced physicians only; new graduates are not eligible.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary based on experience.
$25,000 sign-on bonus.
