Occupational Therapist – Pediatric Early Intervention
Seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment services for infants and young children (primarily ages 0–3) with developmental delays or deficits affecting daily living skills, play, neuromuscular function, sensory processing, cognition, and psychosocial development. The therapist will develop and implement individualized treatment plans while partnering with families to support each child's growth and developmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional skills and developmental outcomes
- Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and community resources
- Complete timely documentation, consultation, and discharge/transition planning
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Kansas Occupational Therapy license
- Valid Kansas driver’s license
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment)
- Pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred
