MOBILE ULTRASOUND SONOGRAPHER

JOB SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams using portable sonographic equipment.
• Obtain high-quality, clinically diagnostic images and transmit studies digitally for radiologist interpretation.
• Travel between assigned facilities and manage a self-dispatched caseload.
• Verify physician orders and patient identity using appropriate identifiers before performing exams.
• Maintain and operate portable ultrasound equipment and assigned vehicle.
• Complete required paperwork, billing, and documentation daily.
• Respond promptly to dispatch and facility communications.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, facility staff, dispatch, and clinical teams.
• Follow infection control, safety, medical ethics, and company policies.
• Train other technologists as needed.
• Work independently with minimal direct supervision.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program.
• ARDMS or CCI registration required.
• Echo/Vascular ultrasound experience required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to successfully complete drug screening and background check.
• Ability to meet required health, vaccination, and TB screening requirements.
• Limited licenses are not accepted.
