INTELLECTUAL & DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES SUPERVISOR
We are seeking an experienced Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Supervisor to oversee the administrative and clinical operations of an IDD program.
SCHEDULE:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, including a minimum of one late evening shift per week. Additional evening and weekend hours may be required based on program and client needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to program staff.
- Manage crisis situations involving staff and clients.
- Oversee staff training, onboarding, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Review treatment records, reports, and documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with waiver programs, funding requirements, accreditation standards, and agency policies.
- Supervise case consultations and maintain regular staff supervision.
- Monitor staff credentials, training requirements, productivity, and program expectations.
- Conduct staff meetings and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Assess client and community needs and coordinate appropriate services.
- Collaborate with clinical, financial, and interdisciplinary teams to support program operations.
- Monitor the delivery of psychiatric, psychological, and case management services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Support and train staff in Person-Centered Planning principles.
- Complete required reports, referrals, and other documentation.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Active LMSW, LLP, or LPC license required.
- Minimum of one year of experience evaluating and treating children and adolescents.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and utilizing appropriate treatment modalities.
- Must meet requirements for Children’s Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) within 120 days of hire.
- Valid driver’s license and favorable driving record.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and crisis-management skills.
- Ability to provide culturally competent, compassionate, and non-judgmental care.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with waiver programs.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
- Experience using electronic medical records (EMR).
