Mammography Technologist
Job Summary:
Performs a variety of mammography imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while providing safe and compassionate patient care. Applies mammography principles, techniques, and protocols to deliver accurate imaging results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography examinations and related imaging procedures.
- Ensure image quality and patient safety standards are met.
- Operate imaging and computer equipment effectively.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
- Work independently and collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Provide professional and courteous patient service.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography.
- Current Oregon state license.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures.
- Image Wisely and Image Gently certifications (or willingness to obtain after hire).
