Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA)
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our Vascular Surgery team for an ongoing, part-time opportunity. This role offers a balanced mix of clinical and hospital-based work within a 150-bed facility.
Schedule & Capacity:
- Start Date: June 1st (Ongoing)
- Shift: Wednesdays only (10-hour shifts)
- Cadence: Every other week
- Patient Load: Approximately 15 patients per day, including 2 consults
The Role:
You will manage an adult patient population (18+) across both clinic and hospital settings. Your primary focus will include:
- Inpatient Rounds & Consults: Managing vascular cases within the hospital.
- Outpatient Clinic: Conveniently located inside the hospital.
- Surgical Support: Assisting with procedures such as bypasses and amputations.
- EMR: Utilizing EPIC for all documentation.
Candidate Requirements:
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) State License.
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- DEA: Valid DEA registration required.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Vascular Surgery. Candidates without prior surgical experience will be considered if they have a strong vascular background.
Facility Details:
- Size: 150-bed hospital (Non-Trauma).
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days. Temporary privileges are available for candidates with a clean file.
