High-Net-Worth Tax Supervisor / Manager
Position: Tax Supervisor / Manager – High-Net-Worth Clients
Work Arrangement: Remote, hybrid, or flexible options may be available.
Preferred: Candidates in New York or New Jersey; U.S.-based candidates may also apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex tax engagements from planning through completion.
- Prepare and review federal, multistate, and international tax returns.
- Handle tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, estates, gifts, partnerships, and corporations.
- Develop tax planning strategies and projections.
- Conduct tax research and prepare technical memoranda.
- Communicate with clients, IRS/state agencies, and firm leadership regarding tax matters.
- Review staff work, delegate assignments, and mentor junior tax professionals.
- Assist with hiring, training, business development, proposals, and client consulting.
- Support improvements to tax software, processes, and workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential – Required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of public accounting experience.
- Previous Tax Supervisor, Tax Manager, or equivalent experience.
- High-net-worth individual tax experience – Required.
- Experience serving wealthy individuals, families, and related entities.
- Experience preparing/reviewing complex individual and trust tax returns.
- Must be located in the U.S. and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
