Temp – Physical Therapist (PT).
Position Overview:
The Physical Therapist evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, monitors progress, and provides rehabilitation services in accordance with physical therapy standards, physician orders, and applicable policies. The PT also delegates responsibilities to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and aides.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular function using formal and informal testing.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings and patient tolerance.
- Prepare and update written treatment plans in coordination with physicians.
- Establish treatment schedules based on frequency and duration, coordinating with patients, families, caregivers, and clinical staff.
- Educate patients and caregivers about conditions, prognosis, treatment options, exercises, and other interventions.
Requirements:
- Physical Therapy experience required.
- Outpatient experience required.
- Candidate’s permanent address must be included.
- 100-mile radius restriction: Local candidates within 100 miles will not be considered.
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
