Per Diem RN – Med/Surg (Days)
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive medical-surgical care to patients and families. The RN will deliver patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and coordinate individualized care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic nursing care to patients across the lifespan.
- Perform nursing assessments, develop diagnoses, implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Maintain professional nursing standards and promote quality patient care.
- Participate in shared decision-making and continuous improvement of nursing practices.
- Support patient and family education throughout the care process.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required (LTC experience not accepted).
- Previous travel or per diem nursing experience required.
- Active RN license required.
- Active BLS certification required.
- Must be available to work at least 1 shift per month.
