Per Diem – Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg
Position:
- Per Diem Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical
- Flexible/per diem scheduling
Typical Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients.
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the required state.
- Current BLS certification.
- Recent Med-Surg nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
