Per Diem RN – Med/Surg Telemetry (Nights)
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients. The RN will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, applying professional nursing knowledge and skills to assess, manage, and coordinate patient care while supporting patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and manage comprehensive nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain professional nursing standards and follow evidence-based practices.
- Support patient and family education and care coordination.
- Float to other units as needed within scope of practice.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of PCU, Stepdown, or Telemetry nursing experience required.
- Must be willing and able to float across different units when needed.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred.
- Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) required at time of submission.
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
