About the Job
Temp – Registered Nurse (RN) – Observation (Nights).
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess patients assigned to observation status and provide skilled nursing care according to physician orders and nursing standards.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, transfers, and responding to alarms and call lights.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and collaborate with the healthcare team to update care plans.
- Process and implement physician orders accurately and promptly.
- Follow up on medication changes and clarify orders as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Observation Unit experience.
- Active Michigan RN license.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
