REGISTERED NURSE / LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE – RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT

JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking an experienced RN or LPN to provide compassionate nursing care in a residential treatment setting. The role involves direct patient care, medication administration, monitoring for intoxication and withdrawal, admissions, assessments, documentation, and medically monitored withdrawal management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete admissions, paperwork, orientation, and required screenings.
- Conduct nursing assessments and document patient information.
- Provide direct patient care and monitor changes in condition.
- Monitor patients for signs and symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal.
- Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate MARs.
- Provide medically monitored evaluation and withdrawal management.
- Perform TB skin testing and read results.
- Develop treatment plans addressing medical needs.
- Provide emotional support, education, and counseling.
- Communicate with physicians, staff, and outside professionals.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and professional environment.
- Provide direction to technicians during assigned shifts.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Georgia RN or LPN license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of medication administration experience.
- Experience with CIWA and COWS required.
- Opioid addiction/treatment center experience highly preferred.
- Ability to provide compassionate care in a substance-use treatment environment.

RN-to-Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:30, depending on activity.
