Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
$60–$65/hour (inclusive of stipends)
Schedule & Role:
- Hospital-based Respiratory Therapist providing cardiopulmonary evaluation, respiratory care, life support, and patient/family education.
- Works with patients of all ages in all hospital departments following physician orders and established protocols.
Requirements:
- Epic experience is required (must be noted on submission).
- Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Active New York Respiratory Therapist license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
- Labor & Delivery/Neonatal Resuscitation experience.
- Critical care proficiency.
Submission Requirements:
- Current work history.
- Skills checklist completed within the last year.
- One supervisory reference from within the past two years.
- Current license and certifications uploaded with the profile.
- Permanent address matching driver's license/state ID.
Important Notes:
- A New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate must accompany all submissions.
- Agency must be able to complete the required 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
- Completion of an approved verbal de-escalation training program (Welle or CPI) is required for onboarding.
- COVID-19 vaccination is encouraged but not required.
