Civil Engineer
Seeking a Civil Engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience to work on public and private projects involving parks and greenspaces, campuses and universities, stormwater management, utilities, and transportation infrastructure. The role covers all project phases, from design through construction administration, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design civil engineering projects involving site development, grading and drainage, roads and pavements, stormwater management, water and sewer utilities, and erosion and sediment control.
- Prepare conceptual layouts, construction drawings, specifications, technical reports, cost estimates, SWPPPs, stormwater calculations, and utility designs.
- Ensure quality deliverables are completed within project budgets and timelines while coordinating with project managers and senior staff.
- Perform construction administration duties and periodic site visits to monitor work progress and quality.
- Attend client meetings and collaborate with engineers, architects, landscape architects, surveyors, and other team members.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
- Strong technical, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Stormwater management or utility design experience preferred, including stormwater practices, conveyance systems, SWPPPs, and water and sewer design.
