Key Responsibilities

Conduct intake evaluations and provide direct clinical treatment to adults and families.
Assess and document client needs related to mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.
Provide individual and group therapy.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, family members, and other support professionals.
Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
Coordinate discharge planning and case closure.
Complete required training related to adult mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Follow professional and ethical standards.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling – Required
Active Michigan license – Required: LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC, or LLP
Must obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire
1+ year of experience treating or working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness; internship/fieldwork may count
Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and effectively with diverse populations
Ability to build therapeutic relationships and collaborate with clients, families, and providers
Flexible and adaptable to program needs
No student/work visa candidates or sponsorship required
