Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Supervisor
Position Overview:
Responsible for the administrative and clinical functioning of the I/DD program, including staff supervision, crisis management, quality improvement, compliance, documentation, and service delivery.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
- Minimum of one late evening shift per week.
- Additional evening/weekend hours may be required based on client and program needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff.
- Manage crisis situations involving staff and clients.
- Train and support staff on electronic medical records.
- Review treatment records and improve documentation.
- Oversee staff hiring, training, scheduling, evaluations, and performance.
- Monitor quality improvement, waivers, credentials, and program compliance.
- Coordinate client services and assess psychiatric, psychological, and case management needs.
- Conduct staff meetings, complete required reports, and collaborate with leadership and other departments.
- Support Person-Centered Planning and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Valid Michigan LMSW, LLP, or LPC license — Required.
- 1+ year treating children and adolescents — Required.
- 1+ year working with intellectual and developmental disabilities — Required.
- Waiver experience — Highly Preferred.
- 1+ year supervisory experience — Highly Preferred.
- EMR experience — Highly Preferred.
- Must meet CMHP and QIDP requirements within 120 days.
- Valid driver’s license and strong communication, organization, and crisis-management skills.
