MRI Technologist – Travel Assignment
Position Details:
- Equipment: GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0.
- Approximately 9 patients per shift.
- Always works alongside another Tech Aide, MRI Tech, or traveler; never works solo.
- Department coverage switches to call after midnight.
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation.
- Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and call as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of current MRI experience — Required.
- ARRT (MR) certification — Required.
- GE equipment experience — Required.
- Meditech Expanse experience — Highly Preferred.
- Active AHA BLS — Required.
- Own vehicle required.
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Scheduling & Holiday Requirements:
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and verified at submission; requests made after submission will not be approved.
- Maximum of 5 days of RTO; fewer days are preferred.
- Travelers cannot take all holidays off. Must work one holiday block if scheduled/needed:
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend.
- New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the following weekend.
- Must provide a permanent address with the profile.
- Must provide contact availability and have voicemail set up. Travelers without voicemail may be redirected.
