INVENTORY AIDE – DAYS:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Aide to support healthcare supply and inventory operations. This role is responsible for counting, picking, replenishing, and distributing medical and surgical supplies to clinical and patient care areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and replenish inventory levels in nursing and supply areas.
- Pick, prepare, and distribute medical and surgical supplies.
- Identify supplies, instruments, and trays requiring restocking.
- Deliver supplies based on priority and department needs.
- Process supply requests received verbally, by phone, electronically, and through handheld devices.
- Keep inventory and supply areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Inspect products for damaged, expired, or compromised packaging.
- Rotate inventory and monitor expiration dates to prevent product waste.
- Receive stock and non-stock items and report inventory discrepancies.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
- Prepare and distribute medical equipment and other requested items.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous inventory control experience in a healthcare setting required.
- Medical terminology experience required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
