About the Job
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Help residents with lifting, turning, transferring, positioning, and transportation.
- Assist with meal services, feeding, nutritional supplements, and documenting intake.
- Weigh residents and report significant weight changes to nursing staff.
- Monitor residents’ skin conditions and report skin breakdown, pressure areas, or skin tears.
- Assist nursing staff with toileting programs and resident care plans.
- Complete required documentation and report changes in residents’ conditions.
- Provide support to nurses and other healthcare staff as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous travel experience required.
- Active Michigan CNA certification/license required at submission.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
- Successful work history demonstrating assignments lasting longer than 13 weeks.
- No active disciplinary action against certification.
