JOB SUMMARY: Echo Tech-8a-4:30p
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Location: Cape Regional.
Position: Echo Tech.
Schedule: M-F with rotational weekends, 8a-4:30 and on call required (weekday and weekend call)
EPIC Exp Required
Certifications required: BLS, and must be registered through either ARDMS or CCI
Minimum requirements include:
- Performs cardiac ultrasound tests (including stress echo' and transesophageal echo's) in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography and complies with ICAEL standards.
- Demonstrates full knowledge of cardiac ultrasound and the usage of digital ultrasound equipment.
- Completes daily scheduled tests in the appropriate time frame and to population specific group.
- Ability to prepare the patient and explain the procedure.
- Ability to navigate through an electronic medical record.
